Strata Partners is delighted to announce that it acted as exclusive financial adviser to Novatus Advisory Ltd (“Novatus”) on its £4 million equity capital raise by Maven Capital Partners (“Maven”).
Novatus is a London headquartered provider of specialised advice to financial services firms to support them in complying with their regulatory obligations, including risk, compliance and ESG programmes. Key to this is Novatus’ RegTech division which develops market leading tools to support firms with complex challenges. Their flagship product, the Novatus Transaction Reporting Analysis (TRA) tool, enables banks and asset managers to meet their transaction reporting reconciliation requirements in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Maven VCTs have committed £4 million of investment to Novatus. The funding from Maven will be used by Novatus to invest further in its team of technical advisors as well as expanding its sales and marketing resources to support the growth of its RegTech offering. The funding will also support ongoing investment in its TRA tool as the company targets further penetration of the market to help deliver on its ambitious plans.
